We are honored to be part of your special occasion.

Please review the following Terms & Conditions carefully prior to booking. By completing a reservation via our website, you acknowledge and agree to the terms outlined below.

Bookings

  • All hires and try-on appointments must be made via the official La Robe website.

  • Full payment is required at the time of booking to confirm and secure your selected garment.

  • Try-on appointments do not reserve or hold a garment unless a confirmed hire booking is completed online.

  • All bookings are allocated on a first come, first served basis.

  • By completion of your online booking with LA ROBE, confirms your acceptance of these Terms & Conditions.

Security & Verification

  • All bookings must be completed via our website using accurate personal details, including full name, residential address, contact number and valid payment information.

  • By placing a booking, you confirm that all information provided is true and belongs to you.

  • La Robe reserves the right to request additional verification, including valid photo identification, in the event of suspicious activity, damage, non-return, or disputed charges.

  • All personal information is kept strictly confidential and is used solely for booking, security, and communication purposes.

Express Postage (Australia-Wide)

  • We offer only Express Post Australia-wide for your convenience.

  • Each hire includes a prepaid return satchel.

  • Garments must be posted back on the next business day following your event. Returns can be completed by placing the satchel in a yellow Australia Post box or lodging it over the counter at an Australia Post outlet.

  • If lodging over the counter, we recommend retaining your receipt as proof of return.

  • While every effort is made to ensure timely delivery, La Robe is not responsible for postal delays once the item has been dispatched or returned.

Returns & Late Fees

  • Timely returns are essential to ensure each client receives their garment in perfect condition.

  • Late returns incur a fee from $25 per day.

  • If a late return impacts another booking, additional compensation may be required.

  • Lost, stolen or unreturned items will be charged at full retail value.

Garment Care

  • Each La Robe piece is curated and maintained to the highest standard. We kindly ask that all garments are treated with care and respect.

  • No alterations are permitted (no cutting, or stitching).

  • Do not wash or spot-clean the garment yourself.

  • Minor wear is acceptable.

  • However, significant stains, excessive tanning or makeup transfer, stretching, tears, or other damage may incur professional cleaning, repair, or replacement fees.

  • If a dress is returned unwearable, the full retail price will be charged.

Refunds & Cancellations

  • All hires are non-refundable once payment has been made.

  • This includes change of mind, incorrect sizing, postponed or event cancellations, or postage delays outside of our control.

  • If your event is cancelled more than 2 weeks prior to your hire date, a credit may be offered at La Robe’s discretion.

Try-Ons

  • Try-on appointments are available exclusively by booking through our website.

  • Makeup and fake tan are allowed; however, we ask that you take care when trying on garments to preserve their pristine condition.

  • Any staining or damage occurring during a try-on appointment may result in cleaning or repair fees.
  • Try-ons do not secure a garment unless a hire booking is confirmed online.

Social Media

  • Photos will only be reposted with your permission.

Under 18

  • Clients under 18 must have a parent or guardian read and agree to these Terms & Conditions on their behalf.
